5-Foot Unpaved Median or Raised Barrier Rule

Mandatory TLSAE (DATA) Course & 50 Driving Hours
All first-time Florida driver license applicants must complete the 4-hour Traffic Law and Substance Abuse Education (TLSAE) course. Learner’s License holders under 18 must hold their permit for 12 months and log 50 hours of supervised driving (including 10 hours at night).
Move Over for Disabled Vehicles & 20 MPH Slow Down
